Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a dedicated Emergency Response Team member to respond to gas-related incidents at customers’ homes in Leicester. You will be the face of the brand when addressing potential gas escapes or CO alarms, ensuring rapid, safe responses.

You will work in a shift pattern averaging 40 hours per week, including weekends and unsociable hours, with a full valid driver’s licence required. A varied role includes meter work, safety valve fitting, and high standards of customer care.

Qualifications

• Must have full valid driver’s licence.
• Experience in gas systems, regulations, and safety protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies at customers’ homes as part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Assist with installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for home and business customers.
• Perform gas safety regulation surveys and fitting of cooker safety valves where required.
• Coordinate with emergency services and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Operate within standards, legislation, codes of practice and health and safety rules.
