Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Lead Gas Engineer to join our Emergency Response Team in Lincoln. You’ll be the first on scene at customers’ homes, the face of our brand for those worried about gas escapes or CO alarms, delivering calm expert support.

Responsibilities include installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for domestic and business customers, high‑rise and gas safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.

Qualifications

• CCN1 or CMA1 qualification required.
• MET1 beneficial but not essential.
• Full valid driver’s licence required.
• Experience with gas meters, testing, purging, commissioning.
• Knowledge of gas safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and maintain gas meters for home and business customers.
• Conduct high-rise and gas safety surveys.
• Fit cooker safety valves and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the team.
