Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Lead Gas Engineer to join our Emergency Response Team in Derby. You’ll be the face of the brand for customers worried about gas escapes or CO activated alarms, handling installations, replacements, and safety surveys in homes and businesses.

The role requires strong knowledge of gas systems, excellent communication, and a valid full UK driving licence. Expect a shift pattern averaging 40 hours per week, with weekends and unsociable hours. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• CCN1 or CMA1 qualification required to apply.
• MET1 qualification beneficial but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of gas systems, regulations and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead on emergency response scene for gas-related incidents.
• Install, replace, and maintain gas meters for home and business customers.
• Conduct high-rise surveys and gas safety regulation surveys.
• Fit cooker safety valves and ensure compliance with standards.

CCN1 or CMA1
