Job summary

Qualifications

• NMC registration required to practise in England.
• Evidence of supervision, teaching and assessing students within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care as a ward team member under the Ward Manager.
• Coordinate nursing services in the ward/dept in the absence of senior staff.
• Exercise accountability as set out in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
• Maintain high clinical standards of nursing care.
• Role model compassionate and inclusive leadership to promote learning and quality improvement.
