Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Emergency Care Staff Nurse (Band 5) to join the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington. The post offers full-time, part-time, and flexible working patterns with 37.5 hours per week (FT and PT).

Salary £32,073–£39,043 pro rata per annum, with a closing date 17 November 2026. You will provide high-quality emergency care across triage to resuscitation, participate in a busy A&E team, and benefit from extensive staff

Qualifications

• 1st Level live NMC registered Nurse.
• Evidence of qualification to supervise, teach and assess students.
• Knowledge of quality improvement tools, techniques and methods.
• Knowledge of coaching and mentoring practices and tools.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in the ward.
• Coordination of nursing services in the absence of senior staff.
