Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for an administration role within our Emergency Department. You will support patient registration, direct walk-ins, and help manage patient records across the Front Door Assessment and Streaming Service, Ambulance Assessment and Minor Injuries Unit across Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Mexborough Montague sites.

• Experience working quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent keyboard skills are essential.
• Confident communicator with customers and colleagues.
• Welcomes patients and directs them using standard guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite and friendly manner.
• Register and direct patients using ED streaming guidelines (FDASS/AMT).
• Support patients to use the ED streaming tool to identify correct location.
• Direct and support patients to use navigation iPads.
• Collaborate with the navigation nurse to complete patient navigation per SOP.
