North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting for an ICC Call Handler in the training phase, based in Preston. You will manage calls across 999, 111 or Patient Transport Services, gathering information, advising callers, and offering reassurance in stressful situations.

The role requires resilience and strong communication, with full training provided; shifts cover a 24/7 service, including nights and weekends. Successful candidates will progress to conversion courses in all three areas.

Competenze

• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (one of which must be English).
• Previous call handling/customer service experience encouraged if GCSE criteria aren’t met.
