Job summary

Element Materials Technology is hiring two EMEAA Payroll Administrators to support payroll operations across multiple European countries via Deel, coordinating end-to-end payroll inputs and outputs in a fast-paced international environment.

Basing in Edinburgh Park on a hybrid basis (3 days per week), you will collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance and IT to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, handling new hires, salary changes, bonuses and terminations while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• Previous payroll administration/coordination experience within a multinational environment.
• Payroll expertise across multiple EMEAA countries including Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, and/or Spain.
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, statutory deductions, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end payroll process for assigned EMEAA countries through the Deel platform.
• Ensure payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, commissions, statutory leaves) are submitted accurately and on time.
• Review payroll reports and pre-payroll calculations to identify discrepancies before approval.
• Validate payroll outputs against documentation and approved changes.
• Support monthly payroll sign-off processes with Payroll Management and Finance teams.
• Payment management: oversee regular and ad-hoc payroll payments and reconciliation.
• Process & System Optimisation: analyse and improve payroll processes and governance.
