Job summary

Element Materials Technology is hiring two EMEAA Payroll Administrators to support payroll operations across Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, using the Deel platform. Based in Edinburgh Park on a hybrid basis, you will collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance and IT to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration within a multinational environment.
• Payroll knowledge across EMEAA countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain).
• Strong understanding of payroll principles, deductions and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data analysis).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end payroll for assigned EMEAA countries via Deel platform.
• Submit accurate payroll inputs (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, leave payments) on time.
• Review payroll reports and pre-payroll calculations to resolve discrepancies.
• Validate outputs against documentation and approved changes.
• Support monthly payroll sign-off with Payroll Management and Finance teams.
• Oversee payroll payments, funding, approvals and reconciliation.
• Analyse and optimize payroll processes and governance.
