Job summary

Mitsubishi Power EMEA is seeking a highly organised Shipping Coordinator to join the Operations team in Leeds. You will manage domestic and international shipments, ensure compliance with UK customs and international trade requirements, and work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and project managers to deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping coordination and logistics.
• Knowledge of UK customs regulations and export/import processes.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments by road, air, sea and courier.
• Arrange collections and deliveries with approved freight forwarders.
• Expedite urgent and critical outage shipments to minimise customer downtime.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities with customs brokers and maintain HS codes.
• Prepare and review export/import documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Monitor shipments and update status in company systems.
