Job summary

Broadridge is seeking an experienced Supervisor, International Settlements, to lead a Scotland-based team handling end-to-end settlements across EMEA. You will supervise day-to-day operations, ensure accuracy, and enforce governance standards while partnering with custodians, trading desks, and support teams.

The role requires 7+ years in capital markets operations, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, with a focus on process improvement and risk control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• 7+ years of capital markets operations experience with settlements or trade support.
• Proven experience leading teams and delivering objectives in high-volume environments.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle across asset classes.
• Strong risk and control mindset with audit/regulatory experience.
• Knowledge of EMEA settlement practices and platforms (Euroclear, Clearstream, CREST).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day team operations across associates, ensuring workload, priorities, and service levels are maintained.
• Provide first-line people leadership including coaching, feedback, and development plans.
• Oversee end-to-end settlement processes across EMEA, ensuring trades are instructed, matched, funded, and settled on time.
• Monitor daily risk and control checkpoints, escalates material risks promptly.
• Act as escalation point for complex settlement issues, coordinating with custodians and desks for timely resolutions.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, governance controls, and regulatory timelines with proper documentation.
• Identify process gaps and automation opportunities in partnership with management.
• Produce and review daily MIS, KPI, and exception reporting with stakeholders across trading, reconciliations, funding, and technology.
