Job summary

LevelUP HCS in Glasgow is seeking a Stock Lending Settlements (Assistant Vice President) to supervise a small team and oversee international stock loan settlements across markets. The role emphasizes reliable delivery, risk controls, and high-quality service within the securities finance lifecycle.

You will collaborate with trading, settlements, middle office and external counterparties, drive process improvements, and help build Glasgow capability as roles relocate from India.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in stock lending/settlements.
• Deep understanding of the full securities finance lifecycle.
• Experience supporting a Securities Finance trading desk in fast markets.
• Experience supervising a small operations team and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Stock Lending settlement activity across international markets.
• Support trade lifecycle management for Stock Borrow & Lending transactions.
• Monitor unmatched trades, settlement fails, cancellations, aged breaks and reconciliation items.
• Ensure timely settlement, escalation and resolution of exceptions.
• Work with Securities Finance trading desk to support trading activity and manage operational risk.
• Use Global One, EquiLend and Pirum for contract comparison, matching and exception management.
• Produce MI relating to settlement performance, fails, and root cause analyses.
