Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years post qualification.
• Experience in full spectrum accounting with a US multinational is preferred.
• Excellent communication across staff levels.
• Hands-on MS Office and computerized accounting systems, ideally Oracle.
• Able to work independently and meet tight timelines.
• High integrity and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director.
• Coordinate activities and deliverables of outsource accountants across EMEA.
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and consolidation for the allocated EMEA subsidiaries.
• Provide comprehensive financial review commentary and monthly analyses; quarterly reporting to US Finance.
• Coordinate monthly interco matrix with EMEA Accountants; ensure USD balances net to zero.
• Back up contact for EMEA property leases and financial review; maintain LeaseQuery data.
• EMEA point of contact for commission accruals; process monthly US files and distribute.
• Manage Open PR accruals and monthly purchase requisitions and accruals.
• Maintain strong internal control environment; document, test and improve processes.
• Interact with PWC Internal Audit; implement value-added control recommendations.
• Support treasury, tax, and internal audit; liaise with US and EMEA auditors.
• Produce reporting to analyze budgets; ensure accurate monthly cost reporting.
