Job summary

Volta is seeking a Regional Procurement Director to own procurement across the EMEA portfolio. You will report to the VP, Vendor Procurement and lead the region in category management, ensuring global standards are implemented locally with a dotted line to project procurement leads.

You will own procurement plans, manage long-lead equipment, negotiate master agreements, and partner with legal counsel while aligning with project teams to drive delivery and value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement experience in data center, energy or large-scale infrastructure.
• Direct experience across EMEA supply chains and vendor markets.
• Experience leading a category management team and enforcing sourcing discipline.
• Track record negotiating master and framework agreements with OEMs.
• Experience operating within a matrix delivery organization.
• Ability to work with legal counsel on complex commercial terms.
• Clear reporting and communication with senior stakeholders.
• Positive and collaborative approach to building a new team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA Category Management team and execute category strategy across major spend areas.
• Develop preferred supplier networks and manage regional supplier relationships.
• Implement Volta's global sourcing standards and end-to-end procurement processes in the region.
• Own procurement plans for active projects in the EMEA portfolio.
• Monitor long lead equipment and align procurement with project schedules.
• Negotiate regional supply and framework agreements with suppliers.
• Guide project procurement leads and ensure standards and output quality.
• Collaborate with Regional Delivery, Project Delivery, and controls teams for sequencing.
• Provide regional spend, risk and commitment visibility to leadership.
