Job summary

Cubic Corporation, via Cubic Transportation Systems, seeks a Senior Data Protection & Privacy Manager to lead the privacy programme for the EMEA region. You will drive governance, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance across multiple business units and collaborate with legal, engineering, and commercial teams to enable business objectives while protecting personal data.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in privacy, data protection, information governance or related disciplines.
• Experience developing privacy compliance programmes within a complex organisation.
• Experience advising senior stakeholders on regulatory risk and governance.
• Experience managing cross-functional privacy projects and major customer engagements.
• Experience relating to AI-enabled systems and emerging technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy governance and strategy for the EMEA region, developing frameworks and policies.
• Direct privacy risk assessments, DPIAs and data protection reviews for new tech and changes.
• Provide privacy guidance during customer negotiations, bids and contractual discussions.
• Partner with Legal, InfoSec and Product teams to embed privacy into processes and designs.
• Lead cross-functional privacy projects and remediation programs, tracking progress against objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on privacy and regulatory matters.
