Job summary

Mattel UK is seeking a proactive PR Associate to join our in-house UK team, reporting to the PR Manager. The role focuses on executing integrated brand PR campaigns and events for the UK market, with scope to extend learnings across the EMEA region.

You will collaborate with agencies, manage assets, and help coordinate media relations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PR, strong project management, excellent English, and comfort with media monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Public Relations or Communications.
• Experience managing a press office and using media monitoring tools.
• Strong project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems is highly appreciated.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in an additional European language is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the PR Manager to execute first-class integrated brand PR campaigns and events for the UK market, with frameworks for use in EMEA.
• Act as hub for creative, messaging, assets and materials for rest of EMEA driving best practices and efficiencies.
• Drive trade shows both in the UK and across EMEA.
• Coordinate network of PR agencies from coverage reports to vetting press and media lists.
• Administer EMEA press inbox with inbound requests and route to market agencies.
• Sign off press materials for franchise partners.
• Media sell-in experience.
• Manage finance systems, raising POs and logging invoices.
