Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a 12-month fixed-term onboarding specialist for EMEA, focusing on a seamless employee experience across HR and GPS teams.

You will coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, serve as a trusted contact for new hires, and help drive process improvements across the organization. This role requires strong communication, discretion, and the ability to handle a high volume of tasks with accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an HR/People Operations or similar environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating processes with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
• Strong organisational skills to manage high volume and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality employee experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Proactive, with initiative and problem-solving mindset.
• Collaborative approach across teams and GPS.
• Curiosity to understand processes and improve them.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and project work beyond core remit.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires across EMEA, ensuring a smooth transition into Bloomberg.
• Act as a key point of contact for new hires, providing clear, accurate and timely guidance.
• Manage onboarding activities across multiple teams and stakeholders, ensuring actions are completed on time.
• Identify and resolve onboarding issues with HR and wider organization as needed.
• Maintain employee information and manage onboarding and offboarding in Workday.
• Support offboarding, including exit interviews and capturing insights.
• Contribute to GPS projects and process improvements across EMEA.
• Handle high volumes with accuracy and high service standards.
• Protect confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Build relationships across GPS, Talent Acquisition and other teams.
• Suggest practical ideas to simplify and improve processes.
• Take on additional operational tasks and audits as needed.
