Amazon Leo Global Licensing - EMEA is seeking a Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Specialist to develop and execute licensing strategies across the region, from satellite systems to spectrum use. You’ll work with regulatory experts to translate complex compliance into competitive advantages.

The role involves coordinating with policy makers, regulators, and internal teams to ensure timely licensing delivery while navigating export control considerations where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in an area of relevant study.

Responsibilities

  • Support design and execution of licensing plans across EMEA countries, securing authorizations for satellite systems, gateway stations, user equipment, spectrum use, and service provision.
  • Contribute to shaping the regulatory environment by engaging with regulators, trade associations, and industry stakeholders to advocate for favorable NGSO policies and space sustainability.
  • Enable service delivery by identifying regulatory risks, maintaining cross‑jurisdictional compliance, and working with business, legal, policy, and engineering teams to deliver Amazon Leo services at scale.
  • Support regional engagement with national and regional policy makers, building relationships in coordination with the International Regulatory and Public Policy teams.

Education
