Job summary

BlackLine Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Learning Business Partner to serve as the embedded L&D presence for BlackLine's EMEA region.

This individual-contributor role is the regional half of a global hub-and-spoke learning model, localising, launching, and delivering programmes across EMEA under central guidance. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Development & Engagement, you will be the primary L&D face to business leaders in the region, coordinating onboarding and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organisational development, education, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in Learning & Development or Talent Development, with regional/international experience in a global, matrixed org.
• Experience localising and delivering learning programmes designed by central/global teams.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders without formal authority.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and written communication skills across diverse EMEA audiences.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design fundamentals.
• Ability to coordinate logistics with external facilitators and training vendors.
• Proficiency with HR tech and AI-enabled tools (Workday, Peakon, Udemy, Claude).

Responsibilities

• Be the L&D face to EMEA, translating regional needs to the central hub.
• Localise and deliver globally designed programmes for EMEA audiences.
• Own regional onboarding and manager/leadership development delivery.
• Facilitate workshops and regionally-tailored learning experiences.
• Model AI-first ways of working in localisation, facilitation prep, and reporting.
• Drive platform adoption and track learning outcomes for EMEA.
• Coordinate regional delivery logistics with facilitators and vendors.
• Collaborate with central L&D, HRBP and People & Culture teams.
