Job summary

Sotheby’s is seeking an Inventory Manager (EMEA) to drive inventory accuracy and standardize regional practices across Europe and the MENA region. You will lead initiatives to reduce aging inventory, minimize risk, and cut operating costs while collaborating with Operations and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in auction operations or inventory management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, charts, and data analysis.
• Strong collaboration across regions and functions; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional biannual inventory checks and report findings.
• Maintain robust controls for accurate inventory records and safeguarding of property.
• Serve as subject matter expert for SAP-related tasks including releases and transfers.
• Support strategic initiatives and coordinate with regional partners on inventory needs.
• Develop and refine inventory policies and related departmental strategies.
• Collaborate with Seller Operations and Client Experience to improve processes and client outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Identify revenue opportunities and cross-department partnerships.
• Lead and participate in tech enhancements (Tableau, SAP, ADM).
• Partner with Legal and Risk on ad hoc inventory projects.
