Job summary

Aliaxis is looking for an experienced Category Manager to lead the Infrastructure category across the EMEA region, based in the UK with up to 30% travel. You will drive profitable growth, manage the portfolio lifecycle, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Innovation and Engineering to meet evolving customer needs.

You will translate market insights into category strategies, lead performance reviews, and shape the product roadmap across multiple countries within a global infrastructure group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Category Management or a similar commercial role.
• Strong lifecycle management and portfolio development knowledge.
• Experience analysing market trends and customer requirements.
• Strong commercial acumen with growth delivery experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience in international, matrix organisations.
• Fluent English language skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% across the EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to drive growth, profitability and market share across EMEA.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from new product introduction through to portfolio optimisation and rationalisation.
• Lead category performance reviews, identifying opportunities and implementing improvement actions.
• Analyse customer, market and competitive trends to identify growth opportunities and strategic priorities.
• Capture and translate Voice of the Customer insights into portfolio and innovation strategies.
• Drive pricing strategies and margin optimisation initiatives.
• Build and maintain a robust innovation pipeline in partnership with Innovation and Engineering teams.
• Support make‑versus‑buy decisions and supplier management activities.
• Lead regional product launch activities and ensure successful market implementation.
• Partner with country teams to support product harmonisation and packaging initiatives.
• Develop compelling product positioning, communications and training materials.
• Provide technical product and application support to internal stakeholders and commercial teams.
• Lead cross‑functional projects and coordinate stakeholders across multiple countries and business functions.
