Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment seeks an experienced HR Compliance Manager to establish and lead the EMEA People Compliance function from London. You will govern policy, monitor regulatory change, and partner with Employment Legal, Privacy and PX teams to build scalable, compliant processes across the region.

You will own vital programs including Right to Work, background screening, DSAR governance, and LOA leadership for UK & Ireland, delivering continuous improvement and cross‑functional

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR or People compliance experience across multiple EMEA countries within a global framework.
• Strong knowledge of employment compliance, policy governance, regulatory change, and risk and control frameworks.
• Experience translating legal requirements into scalable People policies, processes and controls.
• Knowledge of GDPR and employee data governance.
• Strong project management and data literacy with reporting to identify risks and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA People Compliance framework, governance, controls, ownership and reporting across the region.
• Translate regulatory changes into scalable policies, processes and guidance in partnership with Employment Legal.
• Oversee EMEA Right to Work, immigration controls and background screening, including vendor relationships.
• Manage governance for fixed-term employment and related hiring controls across TA, HRBP, Finance and PX.
• Lead data privacy governance, retention standards, audits and DSAR handling across platforms.
• Build compliance capability through training and tooling, and drive automation of controls and reporting.
• Lead UK & Ireland Leave of Absence governance and provide guidance on complex LOA cases.
