Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking an experienced HR Compliance Manager to establish and lead the EMEA People Compliance function from London. You will partner with Employment Legal, Privacy and PX teams to translate regulatory changes into scalable people policies and controls.

You will oversee Right to Work, background screening, data governance, and LOA leadership across the UK&I, reporting to the Senior Director, People Experience EMEA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR or People compliance experience across multiple EMEA countries.
• Strong knowledge of employment compliance, policy governance, regulatory change, and risk and control frameworks.
• Experience translating legal requirements into practical, scalable People policies, processes and controls.
• Knowledge of GDPR and employee data governance.
• Project management and data literacy capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a global, matrixed organisation.
• Experience leading and developing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA People Compliance framework and governance.
• Translate regulatory changes into scalable policies, processes and guidance.
• Oversee Right to Work and background screening; partner with TA, IT and PX.
• Govern fixed-term employment and mobility governance across hiring, extensions and terminations.
• Lead data privacy governance across Workday/SharePoint and retention rules.
• Coordinate audits, SOX and risk assessments; drive remediation.
• Build compliance dashboards and reporting; continuous improvement in controls.
• Lead UK & Ireland Leave of Absence leadership and case management.
