Job summary

Signode in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Freight Management & Process Improvement Lead to drive optimization of freight costs and processes across the EMEA region. You will lead tenders, develop digital solutions, and coach local teams.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in freight management, with two in supervisory roles, plus strong Excel and ERP/BI experience; travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in freight management with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally and domestically.
• Strong Excel and ERP/BI system experience; familiarity with TMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and improve freight management processes for efficiency and cost control.
• Execute freight tenders and improve tender processes for best value.
• Coach and train local teams on tendering and freight practices.
• Digitalize reporting and analytics to enhance freight performance.
• Support warehouse network optimization through tenders and projects.
• Manage vendors and evaluate KPIs to ensure standard compliance.
