Job summary

Align Technology is seeking a Business Development & Innovation Manager for EMEA, based in Birmingham with an EMEA remit. You will identify, develop and bring to market new growth opportunities, starting with patient financing and Invisalign Pay to improve affordability and treatment conversion across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA preferred.
• 6-10 years of experience in FinTech, consumer financing or a related commercial environment.
• Experience developing and managing commercial and strategic partnerships.
• Ability to build a compelling business case and translate an opportunity into an actionable commercial plan.
• Experience taking projects from strategy into implementation and launch.
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking.
• International experience and European languages a strong plus.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale innovative patient financing solutions, including Invisalign Pay, across EMEA.
• Identify and assess new commercial opportunities, developing robust business cases.
• Identify, evaluate and engage potential financing/FinTech and other strategic partners, leading commercial discussions and negotiations.
• Take new initiatives from concept through pilot, launch and scale, working with local markets and regional teams.
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, Marketing and country/regional leadership to move initiatives forward.
• Define success metrics, monitor results and use insights to refine propositions and determine opportunities for further expansion.
• Support the development of additional commercial growth initiatives, potentially including subscriptions and partnerships.
• Help transition proven concepts to regional or local teams for ongoing execution and scale.
