Job summary

Eucalyptus is seeking a qualified accountant to join our Financial Control team in London. You will own core general ledger activities and contribute to management reporting, budgeting, and business partnering across EMEA entities.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work in a lean finance team with visible output and fast progression. If you’re a qualified accountant who wants to develop quickly in a fast-paced business, this is the role for you.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) with hands-on accounting experience.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, including close processes.
• Experience with multi-entity environments and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger for designated entities with full audit trail.
• Manage month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support VAT returns and regulatory tasks; assist external audit.
• Contribute to management reporting, budgets, and rolling cash flow analyses.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve financial processes.
