Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a Controller for the EMEA West region, based in London, to lead local financial reporting and accounting for UK, Middle East and Africa operations. This full-time role reports to the EMEA Regional Controller and supports planning, forecasting and analysis with cross-functional finance teams.

The position requires a qualified accountant with 10+ years in a multinational, strong accounting and leadership skills, and familiarity with UK GAAP/US GAAP.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Ten years or more progressive accounting/finance experience in a multinational.
• Experience with close, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and/or US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly close, financial audit, and statutory reporting.
• Lead local finance team with training and development.
• Maintain internal controls for a US-listed company.
• Coordinate forecasts and budgets with business leaders.
• Drive system/process improvements and global standardization.
• Manage statutory reporting with FCA and regulatory bodies.
• Support transfer pricing and tax planning with corporate team.
