Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an EMEA Engineering Lead to oversee the team responsible for mechanical operations, maintenance, energy management, and workforce development across buildings in a portfolio.

You will ensure uptime of MEP and life-safety systems and drive continuous improvement. The role requires leadership experience in fast-paced corporate facilities, strong budget oversight, and expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, and fire/life safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of experience and education will be considered.
5–8 years in fast-paced blue chip corporate environments or critical facilities.
Chartered Engineer status preferable but not essential.
Ability to lead in a matrix environment and motivate teams.
Strong communication skills for conveying complex information.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

Provide formal supervision and development of staff; conduct evaluations and coaching.
Coordinate daily team activities; set schedules and deadlines; cross-train staff.
Manage operations and maintenance for facilities; develop operating budgets.
Lead improvements to preventive maintenance and safety manuals.
Act as point of contact for external contractors and tenants.
