Job summary

Google is seeking a Corporate Counsel for EMEA Export, based in London or Dublin, to guide on export control and sanctions issues across Google’s products and services. The role involves partnering with Product Counsel, Regulatory Affairs, Policy and Trust teams to navigate complex legal requirements.

You will work within Google’s Export Legal team to advise cross-functional partners, identify legal risks, and craft practical solutions in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in-house and managing outside counsel.
• Knowledge of privacy, consumer protection, antitrust, contract, content moderation/safety, or IP law in technology context.
• Knowledge of EMEA export controls and sanctions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze EMEA export and sanctions laws and assess impact on products and services across Google.
• Provide legal guidance to logistics and operations teams to facilitate export of goods from EMEA.
• Provide ongoing export compliance support for audits and projects across Google.
• Stay updated on export control developments and implement guidance in the compliance program.
• Prepare license applications and related governmental filings as needed.
