Job summary

Google seeks an experienced in-house attorney to advise on strategy and legal compliance for Cloud Consulting, FDE and Security Sales across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the United States. You will draft templates, terms, and playbooks, enabling teams to accelerate engagements while managing complex IT-law projects and data privacy issues.

You will discuss and draft commercial agreements for Google Cloud products, collaborating with client leadership to ensure go-to-market

Qualifications

• J.D., LL.B., or equivalent degree required.
• Admitted to the bar or authorized to practice in the position's location.
• Minimum 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.

Responsibilities

• Advise EMEA Cloud Consulting (GCC), Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE) and Security Sales teams on strategy and legal compliance. Draft templates, terms, playbooks, and create enablement materials to accelerate consulting and FDE engagements.
• Scale legal support by training and enabling sellers, legal colleagues and other key stakeholders to support agreement making effectively. Take on projects to support and negotiate general Cloud Go-To-Market needs.
• Answer a variety of legal requests from Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product, and other Google business clients and Legal colleagues across Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA) and the United States.
• Advise on the compliance of Google products with specific local laws. Support litigation cases and regulatory investigations as needed.
• Develop deep experience in a range of Google products and build effective relationships with business clients and legal colleagues in our various international offices.
