Job summary

Google Legal is seeking a senior corporate legal professional to lead engagement with regulators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will translate evolving regulations into product design guidance and counsel internal teams on compliance for AI, consumer protection, and related areas.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience with European regulators, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional projects and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in legal, compliance, and regulatory risk within the technology industry.
• Experience working with European regulators.
• Note: JD or equivalent degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with regulators across EMEA and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Translate legislation and obligations into product design risks and compliance actions.
• Provide legal advice and insights to internal teams and assess product launches for regulatory risk.
• Develop team structure to support performance and trusted relationships with Alphabet.
