Job summary

Equinix seeks a Regional Manager for Energy Operations to lead the end-to-end energy strategy across the EMEA markets, including the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. You’ll negotiate with suppliers, oversee contract lifecycle, and collaborate with Finance and Sustainability to optimize energy costs and renewable coverage.

You will translate global energy strategy into market plans, manage relationships with utility providers, and drive data-driven decisions to support regional business priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in energy procurement and energy trading risk management.
• Analytical degree in a science / engineering / economics / business / similar discipline.
• Proven experience working within and across regional teams, covering multiple geographies.
• Track record of leading large-scale supply contract negotiations and supplier partnerships.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical capability including data analysis and presenting complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMEA end-to-end Energy Operations workstream for defined markets including UK, Ireland and Nordics.
• Translate global strategy into market-specific execution plans.
• Manage energy supply contracts lifecycle and supplier relationships.
• Engage with energy consultants to monitor market trends and drive contract sourcing.
• Collaborate with Finance/FP&A for budgeting, accruals and reporting.
• Delivery of renewable energy supply and certificates to ensure 100% renewable coverage.
• Coordinate with Sustainability and other teams for reporting and compliance.
