Equinix seeks a Regional Manager for Energy Operations to lead the end-to-end energy strategy across the EMEA markets, including the UK, Ireland and the Nordics. You’ll negotiate with suppliers, oversee contract lifecycle, and collaborate with Finance and Sustainability to optimize energy costs and renewable coverage.
You will translate global energy strategy into market plans, manage relationships with utility providers, and drive data-driven decisions to support regional business priorities.

This position reports to the Director, Energy Operations for the EMEA region and is responsible to lead the delivery of Equinix’s Global Energy and Sustainability strategy across several markets in the EMEA region. The role is part of the Global Energy team and provides the opportunity to work with the other regional Energy Operations teams to deliver on global deliverables.
As an regional manager, this role provides independent leadership and operational responsibility for a defined set of markets across the end-to-end Energy Operations workstream. This workstream covers the entire energy supply contract lifecycle, tactical engagement with utility companies, integration with finance and payment teams, operational delivery of renewable energy supply, engagement with sustainability team.
The role requires extensive experience in energy markets, energy sourcing, and renewable solutions, with the ability to lead negotiations with suppliers, oversee energy trading risk management, and shape market contracting strategy. Proven data management and analysis skills are also essential to translate these energy activity areas into business process inputs and outcomes. The successful candidate will bring strong energy market experience combined with effective analytical skills to drive business outcomes and serve stakeholders across the business.
