Job summary

Equans Embedded Energy seeks a Regional Operations Manager with a technical engineering background to oversee multiple contracts across the UK. You will lead O&M strategy, drive performance, and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards while delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Business Director, you will shape regional operations, manage KPIs and contracts, and coordinate site teams to optimise asset uptime, safety and customer satisfaction, within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Operation & Maintenance of Utility Plant including Generation Equipment.
• Project Engineering experience.
• Leadership to balance financial, technical and people priorities.
• Commercially focused to drive profitability and growth.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Flexible and pro-active approach, both personally and by influencing others.
• Customer and employee focused, including developing key talent.
• Clear SHEQ leadership and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) management.
• Excellent IT skills and experience of operating a range of management systems.
• Collaborative and results orientated.

Responsibilities

• Develop an efficient organisational structure in line with business needs.
• Monitor & manage KPIs to measure and improve efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
• Minimise OCPs by driving performance & contractor management
• Ensure the delivery of high standards of compliance, accurate asset management & maintenance in line with CMMS & contract deliverables
• Provide Site teams with direction to ensure contract data and reports are compiled to the required standard
• Drive operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality O&M solutions that meet industry standards
• Monitor & refine business processes to enhance productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee contract management, ensuring effective project delivery and adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
