Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Design Manager to lead end-to-end design delivery for data centre projects across Europe, including London, Amsterdam, Madrid and Frankfurt. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants to ensure infrastructure meets exacting engineering standards while supporting our expanding digital footprint.

The role requires extensive experience in mission-critical design, strong M&E knowledge, and the ability to manage vendors and internal stakeholders in

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities (data centres, pharmaceutical, energy).
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and relevant building codes.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage vendors/stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party design consultants to deliver data centre facilities meeting global specs.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal construction, finance, sales and operations.
• Provide engineering oversight: budget, schedule and product delivery to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Identify engineering risks early in the design phase to protect timelines and standards.
