Job summary

Cohere is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Deployment Engineering team in EMEA. You will manage Forward Deployed Engineers delivering Cohere's North platform into customer environments, from private cloud to on-prem, while driving customer success from implementation to delivery.

Preferred candidates bring 5+ years in software engineering with leadership, deep cloud infra experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering with leadership
Hands-on experience deploying enterprise software at scale
Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent English communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers across EMEA
Drive end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments
Take ownership of customer success from technical implementation through delivery
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to shape enterprise delivery of AI
Mentor team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise deployments
Optimize performance for OpenSearch, databases and Kubernetes services
Define scaling guidelines for GPU/CPU resources
Build scalable processes and technology for rapid growth
