Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Senior Deployment Engineer to lead North deployments in private cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with enterprise IT, design scalable deployment strategies, and ensure security and privacy compliance while delivering high-quality outcomes.

This role requires hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD, plus travel to client sites. Fluency in French is a plus, and active DV clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying enterprise software in private/hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters and Helm.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including planning, configuration, testing, and rollout.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements, and data management practices.
• Experiment at a high velocity and with a high level of quality to engage customers and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
• Design and implement deployment strategies tailored to client needs, ensuring data privacy and security compliance.
• Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Travel up to 20–40% to work on-site with customers and partners.
