Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Database, Storage, Analytics domain business across EMEA; define strategy, KPIs, and scalable mechanisms.
• Deploy specialist capacity where opportunity is greatest; position data as foundation for analytics and AI.
• Build, coach, and retain a distributed team of senior go-to-market specialists.
• Align Sales, Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Partners, and Marketing to deliver domain outcomes.
• Own C-level relationships and sponsor large data programs, migrations, and analytics transformations.
• Own executive relationships with GSIs, SIs, and ISVs to drive partner-led growth.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to surface insights and inform roadmaps.
• Represent AWS at executive forums and industry events.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Experience building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures
• Experience in go-to-market, business development, sales, or consulting
• Experience working with data and AI technologies, including AI/ML, generative AI, analytics, databases, and/or storage
• Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives, and cross-functional teams, or equivalent
• Experience thinking strategically about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures, or equivalent
• Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
• Multicultural leadership experience across European markets; prior experience at AWS or another cloud provider in a go-to-market or technical leadership role

Responsibilities:

• Own and grow our Database, Storage, and Analytics domain business across EMEA; define the multi-year strategy, set goals and KPIs, and establish scalable mechanisms such as pipeline cadences, co-sell motions, funding frameworks, and business reviews
• Deploy specialist capacity where the opportunity is greatest, positioning the data estate as the foundation for customers analytics and generative AI ambitions
• Build, coach, and retain a geographically distributed team of senior go-to-market specialists; develop future leaders and set standards for organizational health and engagement
• Align Sales, Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Partners, and Marketing teams to deliver shared domain outcomes
• Own C-level relationships and sponsor complex data programs, including large-scale database migrations and re-platforming, data lake and warehouse modernization, and enterprise analytics transformations
• Own executive relationships with GSIs, SIs, and ISVs to drive partner-led growth and accelerate customer time-to-value
• Work with AWS service teams to surface customer insights and adoption barriers that inform roadmaps
• Represent AWS at executive forums and industry events, including AWS re:Invent, AWS Summit, and analyst and press meetings
