Job summary

CapitaLand in London is seeking an experienced DC Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across European data centre facilities. You will report to the Director of DC Technical Operations and coordinate with CBRE, asset teams and CapitaLand property and investment units to deliver compliant, high-availability services.

The role focuses on KPI management, risk control, onboarding and fit-out activities, supplier management, budgets, and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in technical services / mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently across multiple locations in EMEA.
• Proven supplier management within a DC environment.
• Experience in DC operations and/or fit-out projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations relationship with CBRE and KPI governance.
• Coordinate asset enhancement projects including DC upgrades and end-of-life refreshes.
• Manage asset lifecycle following industry guidelines (CIBSE).
• Assist Europe DC team with due diligence on technical documentation and site location for acquisitions.
• Identify, mitigate and manage technical, health & safety, statutory and commercial risks.
• Ensure contracts, policies and commitments are met through proper control systems.
• Maintain the DC risk register and work with capacity manager on mitigations.
• Engage with customers, host monthly meetings and manage expectations.
• Deliver effective business communications and reporting to management.
• Develop and implement service delivery processes interfacing with sales and operations.
