Job summary

TikTok seeks a senior energy and power strategist to lead end-to-end initiatives for our data center assets across the EMEA region. You will engage utilities, brokers, and IPPs to design cost-efficient, reliable power solutions, with a focus on renewable energy and carbon strategies.

The role requires deep experience in energy procurement, market analysis, and regulatory navigation, with travel across EMEA as needed to support site development and operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in utility, infrastructure, energy, or hyperscale data center development.
• 3+ years managing utility agreements, energy procurement, or large-scale power infrastructure projects.
• Experience in EMEA energy markets, including grid capacity constraints and interconnection processes.
• Experience supporting data center power strategy, greenfield/brownfield site development, and utility-scale load interconnection.
• Strong knowledge of PPAs, tariffs, and hedging structures.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end energy and power strategy for data center assets across EMEA.
• Lead utility, grid, and external power due diligence for site selection and expansion.
• Oversee energy supply planning across full lifecycle (reservation, interconnection, energization, commissioning).
• Lead electricity procurement strategy including PPAs with utilities and IPPs across EMEA.
• Develop renewable energy sourcing and carbon strategies to support ESG goals.
• Analyze energy markets, pricing dynamics, and regulatory developments in EMEA.
• Drive energy cost optimization and support CapEx/OpEx financial modelling.
