Airwallex is a global fintech redefining how businesses move money and manage capital. We’re looking for a senior communications leader to shape our external voice across EMEA, lead multi‑channel campaigns, and position executives as industry thinkers.

You’ll partner with product, marketing, and legal teams while managing agencies and cross‑market programs. You will drive media relations, executive storytelling, and internal communications in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of communications experience in fintech or fast-paced tech.
• Proven track record of campaigns to promote product launches and customer wins.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Technically savvy with ability to learn modern tech stacks.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders across time zones.
• Direct journalism/media relationships and newsroom experience.
• Comfort with ambiguity and resilience to iterate and improve.
• Ability to quickly reprioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-channel communications for Airwallex’s EMEA business with key announcements and launches.
• Manage day-to-day newsroom activities: respond to media inquiries and monitor trends.
• Identify opportunities to position executives as thought leaders in markets and media.
• Prepare executives for public engagements with consistent messaging.
• Oversee content development and ensure unified corporate messaging across initiatives.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, marketing, and legal teams on strategies.
• Supervise agency relationships and optimize output.
• Support internal comms programs like Regional All-Hands to align with external strategy.
• (Bonus) Bring experience in Holland, France, Germany, or the Middle East; multilingualism.
