Job summary

IFS, a global software leader, seeks a Senior Credit Controller in the United Kingdom to manage a portfolio of complex customer accounts and drive timely cash collection. You will work independently, resolve disputes, and collaborate with Sales, Billing and Finance to remove payment barriers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cash collection or accounts receivable, excellent reconciliation and negotiation skills, and strong ERP/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cash collection or accounts receivable.
• Experience managing complex commercial or enterprise accounts.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical abilities.
• Excellent telephone, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding receivables and achieve cash collection targets.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Investigate and drive resolution of disputes, deductions, short payments, and billing issues.
• Conduct professional collection calls and negotiate payment commitments.
• Partner with Sales, Billing, Finance, Customer Success, and other teams to remove payment barriers.
• Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through to resolution.
