Match Group seeks a Workplace & Technical Operations Generalist for London to manage hands-on AV/event production and remote hands for regional offices across EMEA. The role includes on-site support, vendor coordination, and ongoing facilities operations.

The position requires independent work, travel to Dublin, Paris, and other offices, and a curious, tech‑savvy mindset with fluency in English. A flexible, hands-on approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• About 5 years of relevant experience in event production, AV, or hands-on technical field work.
• A 'figure-it-out' mindset with a willingness to own evolving infrastructure.
• A collaborative approach to IT and network fundamentals to partner with specialized teams.
• Curiosity about data and automation with tools like Notion or Google Apps Script.
• Hands-on, field-oriented work with AV, network closets, and building-technology touchpoints.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with multiple threads moving forward.
• Fluency in English is required; French/German are an asset given travel across Paris and region.
• Genuine curiosity about technology and quick tool adoption without heavy guidance.
• Calm under pressure and able to follow procedures during live events.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on AV setup, teardown, and live event support across London and other EMEA offices.
• Coordinate production vendors for large events region-wide.
• Maintain and troubleshoot AV/conferencing systems; learn new tools as needed.
• Run livestreaming/broadcast setup for multi-office all-hands.
• Build local know-how to reduce reliance on external support.
