Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Workday EDM Forward Deployed Engineer (HCM Consultant) to work inside customer environments, driving adoption and deep business integration of EDM from go live onwards. You will be the technical bridge between Kainos and the customer, supporting adoption and ongoing value creation.

You will be embedded across multiple accounts, collaborating with Customer Success, Support, Onboarding and Product teams to remove friction, enable client teams, and ensure successful outcomes for

Qualifications

• HCM Workday certification with hands-on deployment experience.
• Experience working inside enterprise customer environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience resolving integration and configuration challenges independently.
• Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage concurrent work across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimise EDM & Workday configuration within live customer environments.
• Identify and remediate configuration debt and architectural limitations.
• Resolve complex technical blockers and support escalation with context.
• Ensure technical continuity from implementation into go-live and beyond.
• Enable client administrators through knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Provide regular technical health summaries to the Customer Success Manager.
• Guide clients through a three-stage maturity model, removing friction to progression.
• Define and track account-specific maturity milestones with the CSM.
• Feedback product insights to the Product team and share reusable assets.
