Job summary
Emerson in Cumbernauld, Scotland is seeking a Senior Hardware and Software Manager to provide strategic and technical leadership across embedded hardware and software engineering teams. You will drive technology strategy, shape product roadmaps, and ensure delivery of high‑quality gas analysis and detection solutions for global markets.
You will guide system architecture decisions, mentor multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with Product Management, and uphold regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications
- Significant experience in embedded software and hardware development.
- Experience leading technical or engineering teams and delivering outcomes.
- Experience managing product development across full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation or related tech environments.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP.
Responsibilities
