Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tewkesbury is seeking an Embedded Engineer to join the SATCOM team. You will apply engineering discipline, procedures, and tools to complete project subtasks and ensure compliance, contributing to certification efforts and customer acceptance.

You’ll collaborate across teams, interface with suppliers, and report project status while supporting other engineers to meet requirements. A strong background in embedded C/C++, DO-178, and agile methods is expected.

Qualifications

Has knowledge/experience of C and C++ for embedded applications.
Experience with DO178 software verification and validation.
Contributing to planning and executing project subtasks to meet customer specifications (designing, testing, etc).
Assists in the completion of products to achieve certification and customer acceptance.
May support other Engineers, Technicians and Associates to ensure project and product compliance.

Responsibilities

Contributes to project status and process presentations for leadership and external customers.
Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance.
Communicates any non‑compliance and the results of any internal project audits to pertinent parties.
