Job summary

GlobalTech Recruitment is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Developer for an aerospace project in Gloucestershire. This contract role offers hybrid working arrangements and focuses on control and bare-metal engineering within cutting-edge aerospace technologies.

Candidates should have ~10+ years in software development, with at least 5 years in aerospace (DO-178B/C) or similar safety-critical domains, strong MISRA C, and experience with embedded ARM microcontrollers, CAN/UART/SPI and MATLAB

Qualifications

• Circa 10+ years in the software development life cycle, with at least 5 years in aerospace (DO-178B/C) or another safety-critical domain.
• Proficient in embedded C, bare-metal programming with microcontrollers, and MISRA C standards.
• Experience with software testing methods and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for aerospace controls and bare-metal platforms.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in certification demonstrations.
