Job summary

Thermoteknix Systems Limited is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our AR and Infrared Products team. You will design and implement features, fix bugs, and diagnose issues in deployed units across AR-related products, contributing to ongoing innovation in a defence-oriented field.

The role requires a degree in CS or electronics, 5+ years of C++ experience, and familiarity with microcontrollers such as PIC32/ARM; hybrid working may be possible, and security clearance is a consideration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• More than 5 years C++ experience.
• Proficient with advanced C++ features (polymorphism, templates, smart pointers, threading, STL).
• Experience with microcontrollers (PIC32 or ARM) is required to be considered.
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematic diagrams when implementing embedded software.

• Design and implement features for AR and infrared product portfolio.
• Diagnose and resolve software bugs in deployed units.
• Support development of next‑generation AR and related products in a fast-paced environment.
