Job summary

Thermoteknix Systems Ltd is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design and develop electronic hardware used across our high-performance imaging products. You will work with mechanical, software, firmware, and production teams from concept through verification to manufacture, ensuring robust, manufacturable designs.

This hands-on role requires strong analogue/digital design, PCB/layout expertise, and experience with test equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience designing hardware for high-performance products.
• Strong analogue and digital circuit design knowledge.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
• Proficient with test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic circuits and assemblies for new and existing products.
• Produce schematics, PCB layout guidance, design calculations, and supporting documentation.
• Support analogue, digital, power, video, and embedded electronics.
• Collaborate with firmware/software teams to integrate electronics with FPGA, MCUs, sensors, displays, and interfaces.
• Perform design verification, debugging, testing, and fault finding on prototypes and production hardware.
• Support environmental, EMC, and compliance testing as needed.
• Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and product development planning.
• Assist transfer to production with test docs and troubleshooting.
