Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for its Slough client site. The role focuses on developing and maintaining embedded software and contributing to the full product lifecycle, from requirements to release.

You will work closely with hardware and firmware teams to deliver robust solutions globally. The position involves 3 days on‑site per week in Slough, with a collaborative engineering environment and opportunities to work across multiple hardware platforms

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded software experience.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with ARM Cortex‑M, STM32, or ESP32.
• Knowledge of RTOS and/or Linux.
• Understanding of SDLC and hardware interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Write, develop and maintain embedded software.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Develop new features and improve existing products.
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers on product development.
• Write clean, reliable and well‑documented code.
• Support software testing, validation and release activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus & Benefits
